Who can give the ID?
This fly seen 1-10-2010 on Urtica vegetation in riverine area in the Netherlands

Very anonymous ... maybe
Lydella ... not sure - very hard to be accurate with this :(

I think I see one down curved bristle in the first one, so it is Voria ruralis. The second one bearing three post-DC, that is a more common character in Blondeliini rather then in Eryciini.

Argh ... yes, I see now - these are 2 species of fly mixed together ... no wonder they confused me. Definitely Voria in the first 3 ... still unsure about the second species ;)

Sorry for the confusion. I have removed the two pics of the second species. For that species I will make a new entry.
