Hi!

I found this Asilidae during the month of August on the hills near Bologna (northern Italy).
Me and my girlfriend challanged each other on identify the species of this diptera. She guessed the genus and thinks it's a Neomochterus melanopus while I think it's a Neomochterus geniculatus. Who won? :)
