Hello!
These 3-4 mm flies were numerous on leaves at forest paths and in our garden (northwest Germany). They show a very fast reaction on light and mostly cannot be photographed with a flash. They are usually gone before the camera triggers after the flash, although they mostly land again only some decimetres away.
