Nope. Pyrgotidae, as I can see through the scales, a
Toxura sp. or near that genus

Thanks Valery. Sorry about the scales. I usually give them a rinse in metho, but this one missed out on a wash.

I used to brush them pyrgotids up a lot every day. What is metho?

Metho is alcohol available in supermarkets, called Methylated Spirits. It's 98% ethanol. The rest is methanol, flavour, and a purple dye. I think the flavour is pyridene which is supposed to stop the alcoholics drinking it. Pure alcohol from a chemist requires a permit.

Thanx! Hardly it worx in this country. We have enough ethanol to use no denaturated stuff.
