But the antennae are yellow. And the spurs seems to be quite sharp and not blunt.

Sorry, I was digging up the name from my memory and it did not serve me well. I meant P. cursitans.

Are you sure, Paul? Does cursitans not have a polished black abdomen grey dusting at sides? I do not see any thing of the black polish. Furthermore I have the impression that the middle femur is relatively too thick; in cursitans the middle femur is a bit thicker than the fore femur, while the specimen of the photo has much thicker middle femora. But again, I dare not say what it is. I find Platypalpus so difficult. Or am I wrong, Paul?

If you put a knife on my throat I'd rather say it is T. candicans

I could not compare specimens. I know one has a somewhat darkened costa near the tip of the wing. That's the case here. So, if that is candicans, then so is this species.

BTW: I have not seen this character mentioned in keys or descriptions, I think.

The abdomen has large greyish side-markings but I can also see the glossy median part.

But the cursitans I have here have relatively small greyish side markings (the problem is with "relatively", but also candicans has often the abdomen dorsally polished, I know.
Please, remove the knife! ;-)
