Thread subject: Diptera.info :: Chloropidae

Digging in my archive, I found this one. Looking in an old french elementary book I found a far resemblance with something labeled 'Chloropisca notata; now it looks like the genus Chloropisca doen't exist any more. Maybe Thaumatomyia?
Milan, Italy, october 1972. Length about 3mm

It seems yes, that's Thaumatomyia genus and maybe notata, for sure do you have a more clear pic from its head? :)

Unfortunately I have only five shots of this fly, more or less all the same. Maybe this one is better for the head details.
