Thread subject: Diptera.info :: Small unknown fly

Was testing out a new home-made flash diffuser and I found this fly outside. Its about 4-5mm in length with long antennae.

Well that's where I put my ones. Female Sciarids I have sent in have all been unidentifiable any further, so now I don't bother posting photo's of them. Such is life! :|

Well that's where I put my ones. Female Sciarids I have sent in have all been unidentifiable any further, so now I don't bother posting photo's of them. Such is life! :|
Ah well I'm just a beginner here, don't know my Tachinids from my Muscids! ;)
