Hello!

Or is it Muscidae? About 5 mm, sunbathing on limestone (northwest Germany).

It does looks like a male anthomyiid. A lateral view might reveal more. Looking at the shadow profile of the face makes me wonder about Phorbia - but perhaps trying to identify flies from their shadows is a step too far on the road to madness :o
