Hi,
who knows the name of this Dolichopodidae fly?
Found 6 August 2008 in Kokkola Finland

Dear Pentti,

This is clearly Dolichopus ungulatus, characterized by the multiple anterodorsal preapical bristles on hind and mid femur and the entirely black antenna. This is one of the most common species of this family in western Europe.
