Thread subject: Diptera.info :: Bombyliidae - Geron sp ?

Hello,

the long "tongue" leeds me to Bombyliidae, in the gallery the genus Geron seems to fit best. Anybody here to confirm or correct?
(found this fly on Amrum (an island in the german North Sea) on Ranunculus sp in a wet dune slack, 2006-06-24)
