Egle rhinotmeta(male) is the correct name? Thank you very much. Slovak Republik, Terchová region on the Malá Fatra, approximately 700 m above sea level 13.10.2011.

You have the right family, but this is not an Egle. My guess would be Delia platura - it has the apical spur on the front tibia and the complete row of short posteroventral setae on tibia 3, and the ventral bristles on the 3rd femur look about right too.

I think you are unlikely to see Egle in October. They fly mostly when willow (Salix) is in flower.
