Hi!!
Probably this is the stupidest quention posted in this forum :D but if one doesn't ask, never learns ;)
I find quite often this kind of
Calliphora bluebottle. I always assumed this has to be
Calliphora vicina. However it doesn't fit well with the description of the item as it doesn't have reddish or brown genae. They are very pale (it is not a light trick). Apart from that, it has the features to be that species, in spite of being very pale.
Can somebody confirm it is indeed
Calliphora vicina and there isn't another similar species described in Southern Europe that I don't know about (apart from
C. vomitoria, of course?

This is
Calliphora vicina : basicosta, anterior spiracle and genae reddish yellow (genae are not black).
