I know its asking a lot for something this small, but can any one suggest a family?
Malaise trap, Townsville, Queensland.

I expect it to be Agromyzidae, Phytomyza-like, based on general build, apparently reduced wing venation and the very white halters.

Thanks Paul, can't complain about the quality of the service. I still have the fly so can see what I can deduce about the venation. Yes it is reduced and I think there was a strong vein in the anal area that stood out.

Probably Pseudonapomyza sp. Agromyzidae.
