Can anyone suggest a name for this little fly - seen on chalk downland in southern England last weekend? It looks like a sciomyzid to me :)

The Sciomyzidae (Diptera) of Fennoscandia and Denmark is interesting.
But also the annotation from Piet and Stephane.
