Thread subject: Diptera.info :: small Thuringian Muscid - cf. Polietes domitor

Hello,
Several of these small flies (arista plumose, eyes hairy) sat on the leaves of a maple tree I passed near Schaala (a small town in Thuringia) on 3 September. Wing venation points to Muscidae, perhaps we can get a bit closer?
