Thread subject: Diptera.info :: What are these? Qld Australia

Hi guys,

Found many of these little guys swarming around on the ground in my vegetable garden. They are about 6mm or so. Anyone know what they are? All help appreciated.

Thanks Piet, based on your info I did a search and they appear to be Plecia amplipennis
