Hello Members.

My name is Cees and I am new on this forum.
I picture this fly last week in my garden in Holland and wonder if anyone can DT it.
I know its a difficult species.

Parden my English.
Greetings,
Cees.

Welcome to the forum Cees :)

You mention that it is small - can you tell us the body-length (roughly)? Also, do you have more photos from different angles? Looks like Nemorilla floralis to me but I'd like to see more.

The fly was about 6 to 7 mm long and this was the only picture I made.
Thanks so far.

Greetings,
Cees.
