Thread subject: Diptera.info :: Calliphoridae: Protophormia terraenovae? (17.+20.08.11) --> Eudasyphora (Muscidae)

Hi!

I'm not sure about the second one, but the first one seems to be Protophormia terraenovae (?). Both 6-7 mm, on meadow near forest (northwest Germany).

Hmm... I had Eudasyophora in mind for the second one indeed. The first one seemed a little bigger (more likely 7 instead of 6 mm), I thought too big for Eudasyphora (but I mostly see E. cyanicolor here, which is seldom > 5 mm).

Eudasyphora is right, my impression is more for E. cyanicolor.
