Thread subject: Diptera.info :: Anthomyia oculifera?

I think this is Anthomyia oculifera but there are other genera of Muscoidea that look identical to Anthomyia to me. Oculifera is the only local species of Anthomyia with a continuous black band on the male thorax.

It's certainly anthomyiid (anal vein, small calypters), and apart from the extent of the black bits looks very like our Anthomyias.
