What kind of Syrphidae this flies. Slovak Republic, Malá Fatra-Terchová, approximately 700 m above sea level. Thank you very much for your help. Best regards! Fote date: 31.08.2011.

I don't know much about Conopidae, but this doesn't look like Leopoldius to me. The proboscis is too long for Leopoldius. Looks more like a Conops spec. Maybe Conops strigatus.
