Photographed in the Netherlands, 29-8-2011. Bergen (N.H.)
Tachinidae. But like always :| I don't know the species. About 1 cm.

With the strongly projecting mouth edge, densely hairy eyes and pale basicosta I'd say
Linnaemya ;) But it won't be possible to go further, I think, without a specimen :)

Given the locality, it must be tessellans (unless you scored the second olsufjevi for NL, which we will never know)
