Hi, I found this small one today on a dead bat. It is about 1.3 mms long. It seems to be a chloropid???

Yes, is Chloropidae, and Oscinellinae! But I should be sure about Genus and also species, if I can!? I'll try, but maybe some people can ID that sooner! :)

I think is Siphunculina, and maybe quinquangula. but my key about this species is old... :)
So maybe better say Siphunculina sp.

Hi,I made a microphoto also. Is the sure determination impossible because of the old key or because some character are not visible on the photos?

Hi Walter

Great, That's really nice picture! :D

But unfortunately I don't have, now, new key about this genus and just have an old key that included only 2 species!
Hopefully other guys can help to us! :)

Good luck

Sara,

You might like to have at look at what the journal 'Revue suisse de Zoologie' are using as their 'Modèle pour le style'.
