Hi, is it possible to ID this fly?
On mesonotum it has a very special design...
Length about 4mm.

Platypygus cf. ridibundus. Was it collected? I received some specimens from Almerķa this year. They feed on Crassulaceae flowers (like Sedum spp.) and Caryophyllaceae flowers (Spergularia sp.) Playtpygus can have striking differences as I saw in the Turkey and Spain specimens. But yours is like our Portuguese specimens.
May you tell where in Corfu this Platypygus was spotted... thanks. (to add info to my database on Mythicomyiidae).

No, it was not collected...
I found it in Barbati (Mparmpati). Do you need the exact coordinates?
I cant remember the flower, but could have been
Spergularia sp. like you said.

I was just there for holidays. Im form Germany. Dont know when/if I will be there again.
