Hi
Can anyone confirm or otherwise the identity of this fly please ? Seen in my Garden sitting on a fence, 7th August 2011 in Surrey, Southern England. I have other angles if necessary face on or from above.

It could be...I would like to see the legs better from different angles.

Thank you for your responce and please accept my apologies for leaving this reply so long. I attach a photo from a different angle and hope this helps and I do have another taken from an angle in between these two.
