Thread subject: Diptera.info :: Tiny fly on dead bird

Hi,

I'm stuck as to which family this might belong to. It was maybe 2mm, on a dead young bird. Near Lincoln UK, on 26th June.

Only two pics which are not the best but hopefully someone might have an idea.

Thank you Paul, it does look like Piophilidae. That's as much as I will get I think , there's none in the gallery which closely resemble it.
