Thread subject: Diptera.info :: Fannia canicularis? orange spots

Hi,

I thought this looked similar to Hydrophoria ruralis, except that has feathered arista.

22nd June, near Lincoln UK. It was sat on a Lilium flower bud under shade in my garden.

I can crop closer if required.

This bears some resemblance to Fannia canicularis, I'm not sure but it doesn't quite like right for that?

Yes, it is around Fanniia canicularis.
