Hello Forum,
studying our gallery, my focus now fixes on the one in the title: Anthomyia procellaris. Am I right? Wrong? Correction possible? Pic taken in Hagen, NRW, Germany, mixed forest with beech and oak, 150-200 msm, July 26th 2011

Could be, but A. imbrida is also possible from this view.

Hello Stephen,
unfortunately, I have no pictures in close focus to show the number of setae on the hind tibia. (I just leart about it).... So A. cf. procellaris
