Hi,
Here is another Tachinid from Thuringia, seen in the surroundings of the small town Zeigerheim some days ago. I thought of a Soliera; however, I might be totally wrong. So experts' help is greatly appreciated!

That's what I thought, too, but - I already had one (http://72.44.83.9...d_id=31765) with a much lighter thorax colour. Is perhaps the dusting worn here?

You are right, no outer orbitals, palpi darkened, must be Solieria fenestrata male.
