Thread subject: Diptera.info :: Very small flies (10.+20.07.11) --> Chloropidae and Drosophilidae

Hello!

Two very tiny Brachycera. I wonder, if the one on the third picture is the same family/species as the one on the first two (it's from ten days earlier). About 1.5-1.8 mm, at night at lamp in garden (northwest Germany).

The first two are Chloropidae (Aphanotrigonum?), the third is Drosophilidae (I think!)

Yes, and the last one is obviously a Scaptomyza.

That's strange to me, first one shows Oscinellinae and second one shows Chloropinae??!!!

Hmm... I'm rather sure, that picture #1 and #2 show the same individual. It was running around, and I was following with my camera to get at least one or two sufficient pictures.

I just can say: Yes Jari, you are right, it is Tricimba, just maybe cincta!! ;) I can't see some characters for sure in pics of 1 and 2 about cincta species! :)
