Hi,

this very nice Silvius was caught in Slovenia (near mount Sneznic) around 10th of july.
Is it S.alpinus?

Wait for Theo. I do not know algirus. This might be algirus as well as alpinus.

Libor is right, it agrees with algirus.

I'm not familiar with this species either, but it totally agrees.

Congratulations !

Thanks for ID!

Exact coordinates (on google maps): 45.569825,14.298953, this is east of Ilirska bistrica, on the road to Mount Sneznic.

Caught in an ancient quarry.

To bad I did collect almost nothing :(
