Thread subject: Diptera.info :: UK, Tachinidae, Bessa?

UK, Suffolk, mixed vegetation on sandy soil. 1st June. Size 4mm approx.

Might this be Bessa? With discals on tergites 3 and 4, it would then be Bessa selecta

It's something I see rarely so it would always be better to key it through - but it does look like a Bessa ... small, wide frons ... otherwise fairly anonymous! ;)
