UK, Suffolk, mixed vegetation on sandy soils. 14th June 2011. Size 7mm approx.

I think this is Campylocheta . Strong facial ridge bristles, long apical bristle on scutellum, one is missing.

Parafacial without hairs, crossvein m-cu less than half that of the cubital vein between it and wing margin, so this is Camylocheta inepta?

Yes, that looks OK to me ... the laterally-pointing ocellars are quite a good confirmatory character :)
