Thread subject: Diptera.info :: UK, Tachinidae, Phania

UK, Suffolk, coastal estuary, on Heracleum. 15th July 2011.
Obviously a female Phania, but how bristly must the hind tibia be to consider the rarer thoracica rather than funesta?

I would call that funesta ... I have never seen thoracica but it is supposed to have a lot more dorsal pre-spical setae :)
