Hello,

I have trouble with this one because the arista isn't properly visible. Starting out with the arista bare got me nowhere. Assuming it has longer hairs at the base I key this out as a Thelaira male but I haven't seen a picture of a specimen with such orange markings and without the white dusting on the abdomen.

Thanks,

Kim

Thelaira - YES ... but I can't see the species without knowing how the middle tibia looks ... the orange markings are not good indicators but it is leaning close to solieria ... but we need to see an undamaged (un-squashed) middle leg ;)

Chris, You mean solivaga? :)
OK, the middle leg is squashed so Thelaira spec it is. :(

Thanks again, Chris! :)
