Thread subject: Diptera.info :: Oestridae, Cephenemyia sp. (Norway)

Found three of these flies on the summit of a mountain at 625 meters above sealevel. Photos from 06.07.2011, Bodø, northern Norway.

Could it be Cephenemyia trompe? There are some reindeer in the area I found them. Have looked at photos of Cephenemyia species (trompe, ulrichii and stimulator) but can't see any difference in appearance... Are they possible to ID from photos? Size is approx. 15-16 mm, got very close to them, and got several photos.

Could collect if it's needed for confirmation? I think I will go to the same place again before the end of July, seems like an interesting place to look for insects.
