A dark, bluish Sarcophagid.
Photographed near Caversham, UK, on 2011-06-02.
Could it be a Brachicoma sp?

Might be, if the arista is bare and the palpi are black (see http://www.dipter...#post_8001).

Sorry, no specimen so it'll just have to remain a 'possible'.
