Hi,
This small Empidid male I saw in Austria, Tyrol, Niederthai (1.500 m) in last August. My guess is Rhamphomyia, can be said more ( e. g., a group name)?

I think my reply got lost in one of the horrible 'Lost connection to MySQL server' spells. Possibly a species of the R. (R.) albosegmentata group species, but the haltereas appear a little dusky. However, the other characters do not suport many other species (groups). If you collected it, I can tell you more (and don't tell me you did not have time to collect it with so many pictures).
