I think this is in Muscidae, and I'd guess at Mydaea.

(There is no bend in vein M, and although the anal vein almost appears to reach the wing margin it can't be Anthomyiidae because the calypters are too big and there are four post-sutural dorsocentrals.)

I don't think so. There are other species with a less stripy thorax - M. setifemur? - but we should wait for a muscid expert.
