This is the second T. grossa I got. But in the last time, I only collected it through a malaise trap (August 2009). This time I spotted it in Caramulinho place, over a Rubus sp.
June 2011. In Caramulinho - Serra do Caramulo.
Tachinidae - Tachina grossa. Darkened calypter.

Yeah, very nice :) Just keep looking for the ones without dark calypters ;)
