Costa extending only to R4+5 = Asyndetus. But as you can see at Asyndetus (photo made by
myself, too) in "Forum Search", this specimen has yellow legs and is the smaller with compared
against the fly from last year. These dolichopodids were "jumping up and down" together
on the sand where I was taking the photos of several species of crabronids and the satellite
flies of the sarcophagidae family.
The locality: at the edge of natural reserve "Na Plachtě" in the vicinity of Hradec Králové,
East Bohemia, CZ. 20th of June 2011.
I should be very obliged to all who ID this curious dolichopodid! Thank very much.

Thank you very very much, Igor!
I shall try to find, take the photo and catch the male. Best of all it would be to see the important
morphological characters in the microscope....
Once more, thank!

Dear Michael,

Under the microscope, you'll find out that there is very little doubt about the identity of this species if it's really Cryptophleps (which is very probable).

Cheers,
Marc
