Found in a small humid glade, near a pool, in Loire-Atlantique, western France, June 02 2011.

I think nobody can help you now, Theo is in Armenia, ca. one month. My first impression, according to black antennae, is H. ocelligera. But it is not ID, just a tip.

The third antennal segment seems genuinely black.
If that it true, H. crassicornis would be the first candidate.

I don't think I have ever seen the male of H. ocelligera.
Would not expect this species in Loire Atlantique, so that ID would require more evidence.

Hmm, Theo, antennae seem to be too "thin" for crassicornis. Am I true?

Yes, I see your point, yet the shape is very variable.

Without a specimen and only this pic, it is simply spec. for me
