I think this one may be

Dufouria chalybeata Male, using the info that you gave me last time Chris

I have tried to measure it and the info says 5-6mm is this from head to end of abdomen?

Anyone a common species as you say

Thanks Chris

Are these flies normally measured from head to abdomen or from thorax to abdomen?

When I talk about the length of a fly it is always from the tip of the face to the tip of the abdomen :)
