Is this a Chironomidae?
Malaise trap, Townsville, Queensland.

Mycetophilidae (at least s. lat.). Chironomidae never has strong tibial spurs, but most Mycetophilidae do. Not clearly visible here, it should also have enlarged coxae.

I would think this is a species within the genus Mycetophila.
