Hi,
The sun was already nearly down when I came across this Tachinid that had sat down to sleep. My flash light made it fly away after some shots that gave only poor photos - I am sorry! Can you see enough to dare a guess? Thanks, Sundew

Very anonymous so not one I can comment on - one for Theo I think :) Could be something like Lydella but I'm not sure.

Bad one... I see your point wit Lydella, but the frons should be more prominent? I canīt think of a better suggestion.

It sure looks like Lydella, the apical scutellars are erect.

The third antennal segment is very long, strongly suggesting L. thompsoni (together with the not-to-long thickened arista).
