Can anyone identify this small fly ? Captured on 28 May 2011, South Bohemia, Czech Republic. Quite common on leaves.
Thank you.

Good evening Sara !
thank you for your reply. There should be around 300 species of Dolichopodidae family in the Czech republic, what about Dolichopus ungulatus ?
Regards
David

Unfortunately I'm not an expert of Dolichopodidae, but I think it's better you change your title to Doli.. to attract experts.. ;)

... Sezima ...,
It might be worthwhile to know that D. ungulatus can easily be recognized by the presence of multiple (2-3) preapical bristles on both mid and hind femora, together with the entirely black antenna. There are a small number of other species with more than one preapical bristle on these femora but both have pale yellow legs, partly yellow antenna and modified tarsi in the males (D. popularis, D. claviger).
With kind regards,
Marc
