Hello,

this photo is from beginning of april 2011. These 3-4mm flies seemed to like the plant stems I hang out for the Osmia-bees in my garden near Neuss (west germany). What is it? And was it by chance, or are they parasites?

Thanks,
Michael

Cacoxenus indagator (Drosophilidae) - well known parasite/commensal of Osmia bees
