Hello!
Sorry for the bad pics of this 7 mm male at a hedge (northwest Germany). Muscidae? Or perhaps
Fannia lustrator?

This is a male
Hydrotaea meridionalis/
pellucens.

or
borussica
P.S. I'd say
Hydrotaea borussica/pellucens,
meridionalis is more sothern species
reliably known from Crimea, Russian Caucasus and Turkey - other records at my opinion should be misidentifications (or identifications by female = misidentifications).

Hello, Stephane and Nikita!
Interesting, thanks! Until now I have only seen darkish grey or black
Hydrotaea species here.
