Is this Anthomyiidae? Any chance of getting genus or species? Taken on the 21rst May 2011 in the mountains N of Madrid. Thanks in advance.

Nikita, that was quick!! Well, it is almost good news that it is Anthomyiidae because I was starting to think that I was useless trying to separate Anthomyiidae and some Muscidae. I have serious problems with some of them.
Anyway, thanks a lot to you both for your input. All the best
Piluca

Nikita you are right as always! It is a male Delia species I think, but some unusual species are found on the mountains north of Madrid. Pity you did not catch a specimen. I can't say more without seeing all the bristles, especially on the legs and under the abdomen.
