Thread subject: Diptera.info :: Tiny flies mating. What are they?

I've had this image here unidentified for the longest time. I cannot do it.
But I'm not a dipterist, perhaps one of you people see some clues in the image that I don't know of.
They were real tiny, a couple of millimeters. Perhaps three or four.

Could be Botanophila fugax.
