Thread subject: Diptera.info :: Drosophilidae; Stegana (was Lauxanidae?)

This fly was 6 mm. I dont know if something is wrong with this fly. Can anyone help with family and perhaps genus?

Thanks for link Sara.
It seems to be one of the 6-7 species in Sweden and looks a bit like furta but with banded eyes. Does anyone know more about this curved flies?

It isn't furta as the shape of the eye would be different. It could be almost any of the other species. They are quite tricky, even with the actual specimen at hand.
